Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information TableTraining ("we," "us," "our") collects through the TableTraining platform (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to platform administrators, Organization administrators, and team members (collectively, "you").
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, role, and organization, created when an administrator provisions your account.
- Organization content — documents, handbooks, policies, lessons, quizzes, and branding your Organization uploads or creates in the Service.
- Training activity — assignments, lesson progress, quiz attempts and scores, and completion records.
- Usage & log data — basic technical data such as timestamps and error logs, used to operate and secure the Service.
We do not knowingly collect more than what's needed to run the Service.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
- To generate draft lessons, quizzes, and policy content with AI assistance from documents your Organization uploads;
- To let administrators assign training and track completion within their own Organization;
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. AI processing
When an administrator generates a draft lesson, quiz, or policy, the relevant source document or intake answers are sent to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) to produce the draft. This processing happens per request and is used only to generate that Organization's content — not to train models for other customers. Nothing AI-drafted is visible to team members until an administrator reviews and publishes it.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run the Service on our behalf ("subprocessors"), currently:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
- Anthropic — AI processing for lesson, quiz, and policy generation;
- Netlify — website hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
6. Data isolation between organizations
Every Organization's documents, lessons, and people are isolated from every other Organization's, enforced at the database level — not just in the app.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level data isolation — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain account and training data for as long as an Organization's account is active. If an Organization's account is closed, we'll delete or anonymize its data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. Your rights & choices
Team members should contact their Organization's administrator to access, correct, or request deletion of their information — administrators manage accounts directly. Organizations may contact us at the email below for help exporting or deleting Organization data.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for use by employers and their employees in a workplace context and is not directed to children. Accounts are created by an employer, not self-registered.
11. Where data is processed
Our infrastructure and service providers are primarily based in the United States, and information is processed there.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
